I appreciate that you’ve chosen Leaning Tree Therapeutics, LLC for your health journey. To provide the best service possible to clients, the following policies have been implemented.

Fill out the New Client Intake Forms, included in your appointment confirmation email/text/DM, in advance of your session if possible; otherwise you may fill them out at the office. Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your scheduled session to go over intake forms and session goals.

Leaning Tree Therapeutics, LLC reserves the right to refuse service at their discretion.

CANCELLATIONS/RESCHEDULING POLICY

Leaning Tree Therapeutics, LLC respectfully requires that if you are not able to make a scheduled appointment, you agree to cancel or reschedule the appointment at least 24 hours in advance. If you give less than 24 hours’ notice, you agree to pay $35 or 50% of the full session rate (whichever is greater) for the first missed session/late cancellation or reschedule* and you agree to pay the full session rate if you give 4 hours’ notice or less or for future missed sessions/last cancellations or reschedules, or if you miss an appointment without giving notice. Leaning Tree Therapeutics, LLC reserves the right to require a credit card number to be put on file to book and reserve your appointment, as well as to be used to charge the appropriate fees in the event of a late cancellation, reschedule, or missed (“no show”) appointment.

Sometimes things happen and you have to cancel or reschedule your appointment and that's OK. There is no fee if notification is given at least 24 hours prior to your appointment.

*This time is scheduled just for you and only you which is why I require a credit card on file or prepayment to reserve and guarantee your appointment. However, it WILL NOT be charged unless you do not adhere to the Cancellation/No- Show policy.

SUDDEN ILLNESS/HEALTH OR PERSONAL EMERGENCY/INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY

Leaning Tree Therapeutics, LLC understands that emergencies can arise and illnesses do occur at inopportune times. If you develop a fever, a contagious illness, a known infection, or have experienced vomiting or diarrhea within 24 hours prior to your appointment time, it is requested that you cancel your session in accordance with the cancellation/rescheduling policy. If within 24 hours of your session, you have a personal emergency rendering you unable to make your appointment, you will inform Leaning Tree Therapeutics, LLC right away, and if Leaning Tree Therapeutics, LLC is unable to fill your vacancy, you will pay the cancellation fee, or session fee (if less than 4 hours’ notice), unless an exception is granted; only at the discretion of Leaning Tree Therapeutics, LLC. Inclement weather may also result in the need for late cancellations. Leaning Tree Therapeutics, LLC will do its best to give advance notice if there is a closure or a need to cancel due to bad weather and ask that you do the same. Please do not risk your own safety trying to make your appointment.

You understand that you are still responsible for your appointment until you hear back from Leaning Tree Therapeutics, LLC confirming your request for a cancellation/reschedule.

ARRIVING ON TIME/SESSION LENGTH/LATE ARRIVAL POLICY

Out of respect for therapist's time and other clients, Leaning Tree Therapeutics, LLC respectfully requests that you arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your appointment time to allow for necessary paperwork or to answer any intake questions your therapist may have, as well as to get the full session time you have scheduled. If you arrive on time, or late, you understand that the therapist can only give you whatever time remains of your appointment, and that you will pay for the full length of the session that you booked. Leaning Tree Therapeutics, LLC understands that issues can arise that may cause you to be late for your appointment; please call or text so that your late arrival can be accommodated. Appointment times are reserved for each client, so oftentimes sessions cannot exceed the reserved time without making the next client late. In the event that Leaning Tree Therapeutics, LLC is late, it will do its best to adjust the session accordingly; either by adding time to your session when feasible or by adjusting the service charge accordingly.

INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR POLICY

Leaning Tree Therapeutics, LLC has a zero tolerance policy in regards to inappropriate behavior. Massage Therapy is for therapeutic and relaxation purposes only. There is absolutely no sexual component to massage whatsoever. Any insinuation, joke, conversation, or request otherwise will result in immediate termination of your session and refusal of any and all services in the future. You will be charged the full service fee regardless of the length of your session. Depending on the behavior exhibited, Leaning Tree Therapeutics, LLC reserves the right to file a report with local authorities. Leaning Tree Therapeutics, LLC reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.

COMMUNICATION POLICY

Leaning Tree Therapeutics, LLC believes in satisfaction guaranteed. For this standard to be met, you understand that in order for you to receive the best massage therapy possible, you must communicate ANYTHING and EVERYTHING, including your needs, preferences, requests, or feedback, at any time before, during, or after your massage. You take it upon yourself to communicate right away if there is anything distracting you or if you feel unwell or uncomfortable at any time during the session so that the necessary adjustments can be made; this also means you may terminate the session at any time. You understand that Leaning Tree Therapeutics, LLC wants your HONEST feedback-positive and negative- and doesn’t take offense to it.
